- Te Deum with military ceremonial and laying of wreaths at the monument of General Stefan Gușă located at the church of the village of Spătaru, on the occasion of the anniversary of the revolutionary events of December 1989, and of the commemoration of the 7th anniversary of his death on March 28.
- Intensification of the interventions with the local authorities in order to obtain the approval to name after the General a major military unit, the village of Spătaru and/or a street of the Municipality of Bucharest and/or of Buzău.

The manifestation was preceded by a ceremonial of laying of wreaths and bouquets of flowers at the tomb and at the monument of General Stefan Gușă, in the locality of Spătaru.
At the event took part representatives of the Foundation, active and reserve military personnel, and soldiers of U.M. 02470 of Buzău.
- On May 24, on the occasion of the military ceremonial of laying of wreaths and bouquets of flowers at the tomb and at the monument of General Stefan Gușă located in the courtyard of the church of Spătaru, the Foundation donated to the participants 104 copies of the work The Chiefs of the Romanian General Staff (1859–2000).
The manifestation took place on the occasion of Heroes’ Day (Ascension Day) in Spătaru, Buzău County.
Participants: military personnel of the Buzău garrison, the prefect and the deputy prefect of the respective county, representatives of the local municipality, and inhabitants of Spătaru. - During May–June, there were donated and sent to the libraries of 58 Military Circles existing in the garrisons of the country, two copies of the work The Romanian Army from the Ultimatum to the Dictate. Year 1940, and one copy of the following writings: Priests Fighting for the Great Union, 1916–1919, Romanian–German Military Relations, 1939–1944, and The Chiefs of the Romanian General Staff (1859–2000).
- Granting of the necessary financial support for the arrangement of a protocol hall bearing the name “General Stefan Gușă”, within the “Mihai Viteazul” Armored Vehicles and Automotive Training School of Pitești.
- Realization of marble plaques bearing the names of the graduates with highest marks and of the commanders of the “Mihai Viteazul” Armored Vehicles and Automotive Training School of Pitești.

- On June 20, 2001, the “Military History Magazine” Awards were awarded for the most valuable historical works that saw the light of day in 2000.

- On October 13, during the scientific communications session of the Municipal Museum of Câmpulung, the launch of the book “Military Attachés transmit… 1938-1944” published under the aegis of the foundation took place. 50 copies of the work were distributed to the participants: the Mayor of Câmpulung Municipality, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs, of the Argeş Directorate of Culture, Religious Affairs and Cultural Heritage, researchers, teachers, museographers, students, pupils.

- Launching of the book “Military Attachés Transmit… 1938-1944” at the National Military Circle on 17.09.2001. 80 copies of the work were distributed free of charge to the participants in the event: foreign military attachés, generals, officers from the Ministry of National Defense, war veterans, etc. The book was presented by Colonel (ret) Dr. Alesandru Duţu
- 22.09.2001-presentation of the book “Military Attachés transmit… 1938-1944” on the Romania radio station, within the Romania Actualități program
- Launching on 16.10.2001, within the Prahova History and Archaeology Museum, of the books “Priests fighting for the Great Union 1916-1919” and “Military Attachés transmit.. 1938-1944” within the scientific session organized by the Ministry of Interior, the Directorate of Public Relations, Traditions, Education and Sports, the Hans Seidel Foundation, the Civil Protection Command and the Civil Protection Magazine.
40 copies of each work were distributed free of charge to the participants:
representatives of the Prahova Prefecture, the commander of the Ploieşti Garrison, the Ministry of the Interior, the Civil Protection Command, researchers, museographers, teachers, students, military personnel. The presentation of the books was made by historians prof. univ. dr. Gheorghe Buzatu, prof. univ. dr. Valeriu FI. Dobrinescu and commander ( r ). dr. Ilie Manole
- Donation in November of one copy of the work “Priests in the Fight for the Great Union 1916-1919” and 3 copies of the work “Priests in the Trenches” to 14 faculties of theology and 38 theological seminaries in the country.
- Donation of 2 copies of the works published by the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation to libraries of military and civilian institutions, universities and museums.
- Carrying out preparatory work for the compilation and publication of the study volume “New Research Perspectives in Military Historiography”. The edition will be produced in French, in collaboration with historians from France, England, Germany and Romania.
