The purpose of our foundation is to support scientific and cultural activities having as objectives the search for truth in the contemporary political and military history of the Romanian people, the highlighting of the role played by the army in the crucial moments of our national evolution, and the education of the younger generations in respect of the defining values of national culture and their integration into the European historical-cultural whole.

Based on the statute of the “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation, we will also continue in the future to organize and support the holding of scientific events – conferences, symposiums, and courses at national and international levels -, the printing of books on both political-military strategy and security of Romania, both in memoirs, as well as humanitarian assistance to soldiers in difficulty for work reasons, and their families (veterans injured in the course of military operations, or who have suffered accidents, orphans, widows in critical medical situations, etc.).

In realizing the above, we intend to establish public-private cooperation between the “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation, on the one hand, and the sectoral institutes of the army, the National Defense University, Academies, and Training Schools of the various categories of military forces and weapons, on the other hand, through the stipulation of protocols which specify, in principle, our offer and the ways of achieving the cooperation objectives.

From its creation to today, our foundation has launched a series of initiatives including the following:
