“General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation.
I. Scholarships and prizes:
a. Assignment of monthly scholarships between October 2017 and June 2018 for:
3 squad leaders and students of the non-commissioned officers school
3 dropouts of the military academies (land, air, naval)
1 student Military Technical Academy.
b. Trip to Italy for eight Military High School students and one accompanying teaching staff member
c. The awarding of the “General Ştefan Guşă Foundation” prizes to the graduates who are heads of promotion of:
Military Technical Academy, Land Forces Academies “Nicolae Bălcescu” Sibiu;
Naval Forces “Mircea the Old Man” Constanta;
Air Force “Henri Coandă” Braşov
Military Schools of Squad Leaders and Non-Commissioned Officers:
of the Land Forces, “Basarab I” – Pitesti;
of the Air Force, “Traian Vuia” – Matricola,
of the Naval Forces, “Admiral Murgescu” – Constanza.
d. Assignment of the Foundation Prizes on the occasion of the autumn and summer Military Sports Games
e. The Prize for scientific research in the field of national defence
f. The special prize of the General Ştefan Gusa Foundation for the historical contest: “National Day of the centenary” in collaboration with the 2nd Division, Second Army.
g. Support to the cultural-educational project “Let us preserve the tradition of the Romanian people – Coronita folklore group – Spataru School”

February 10, 2018 – Saturday, February 10, 2018, the Ministry of National Defence organized in Vatra Dornei the award ceremony of the Military Ski Championship for training units, held from February 5 to 10, 2018.

Saturday, February 10, 2018, the Ministry of National Defence organized in Vatra Dornei the award ceremony of the Military Ski Championship for training units, held from February 5 to 10, 2018.
On this occasion there were delivered the Diplomas and the Prizes of the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation, awarded to the athletes ranked in the first three places in the competition events:
– First classified, Plt RUSU Emanuel
– Second classified, corporal FRANCISCO Ion,
– Third classified, Slt LILIAC Dragos.

Ascension Day 2018
On the occasion of Ascension Day – Heroes’ Day, the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation laid wreaths of flowers at the monument of General Ştefan Guşă and at the monument of the Heroes of the village, at the church of the village of Spătaru, founded by general Stefan Gusa. At the celebration also participated the Coronita ensemble, supported by the General Stefan Gusa Foundation, which laid a wreath and presented an artistic moment.

Main prizes of the promotion
Friday, July 13, in Mangalia, there took place the award ceremony of the final phase organized by the Ministry of National Defence of the Summer Games for the training units. On this occasion there were delivered the diplomas and the prizes of the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation, awarded to the athletes ranked in the first three places in the competition events: – First classified, Plt. Inceu Andreea from the land troops; – Second classified, MM Sandu Simona of the Communications Command; – Third classified, corporal Crisnaru Alexandru of the Land Forces. Awarding of the prizes to the heads of promotion
On July 28, 2018, on the occasion of the graduation ceremonies, in the residence of the garrisons, generals and reserve officers, former colleagues of General Ştefan Guşă, of the General Staffs of the Armed Forces, delivered the diplomas of excellence in the name of the “General Ştefan Guşă” and prizes for the heads of the graduates of the “Centenary of the Great Union” 2018 of the military educational institutions of the Ministry of National Defence.
We send congratulations and success in the career of the graduates:

Trip to Italy
In July 2018 there took place the trip organized by the Foundation for 8 students of the high schools with military profile of the country. This year benefited from this prize: Sandu Denisa Elena, Turea Cristian Nicolae, Vlas Ioana Cezara, Stanciu Nicolae Robert, Zuzeac Marilena Ioana, Savin Georgel Madalin, Galatan Ramona Simina, Rodila Andrei Ioan. The young people, accompanied by Prof. Roman Cecilia, visited the cities of Florence, Venice, Milan.

Awarding of the Prize for scientific research in the field of national defence
25.09.2018 – The “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation awarded the Diploma of Excellence and the Prize for Scientific Research in the amount of 1500 lei, to the scientific researcher II, Dr. Cristina Bogzeanu, of the National Defence University “Carol I”.

Commemoration of the heroes of December 1989 at Spataru
On December 22, 2018, in the church of Spataru, founded by general Stefan Gusa, there took place the military and religious ceremony dedicated to the anniversary of the Romanian revolution of December 1989, at which participated the Foundation, the prefect of the county, the commander of the Buzau Garrison, the general school “General Stefan Gusa” of the village of Spataru laid wreaths of flowers. On the occasion of the winter holidays, the pupils of the General School received from the Foundation, as every year, gifts (packages with provisions, toys, sweets).
