“General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation.
I. Scholarships and prizes:
a. Assignment of monthly scholarships in the period October 2018-June 2019 for:
3 squad leaders and students of the non-commissioned officers school
3 dropouts of the military academies (land, air, naval)
1 student Military Technical Academy.
b. Trip to Italy for 10 students of the Military High School and one accompanying teacher
c. The awarding of the “General Ştefan Guşă Foundation” prizes to the graduates – leaders of the promotion of:
Military Technical Academy, Land Forces Academies “Nicolae Bălcescu” Sibiu;
Naval Forces “Mircea the Old Man” Constanta;
Air Force “Henri Coandă” Braşov
Military Schools of Squad Leaders and Non-Commissioned Officers:
of the Land Forces, “Basarab I” – Pitesti;
of the Air Force, “Traian Vuia” – Matricola,
of the Naval Forces, “Admiral Murgescu” – Constanza.
d, Assignment of the Foundation Prizes on the occasion of the autumn and summer Military Sports Games
- Assignment of the Prize for scientific research in the field of national defence
- The special prize of the General Ştefan Gusa Foundation for the historical contest: “National Day of the centenary” in collaboration with the 2nd Division, Second Army.
- Support to the cultural-educational project “Let us preserve the tradition of the Romanian people – Coronita folklore group – Spataru School”

February 9, 2019 – On 09.02. 2019 the Ministry of National Defence organized the award ceremony of the Military Ski Championship for the training units

On 09.02. 2019 the Ministry of National Defence organized the award ceremony of the Military Ski Championship for the training units.
On this occasion the General Stefan Gusa Foundation, as has now become tradition, delivered diplomas and prizes to the athletes ranked in the first three places:
First place – cap. Moisan Dumitru
Second place – cap. Moraru Mario
Third classified – cap. Raducu Narciso.

Awarding of the prizes to the heads of the promotion
In July 2019, on the occasion of the graduation ceremonies, in the residences of the garrisons, generals and reserve officers, former colleagues of General Stefan Gusa, coming from the General Staffs of the Armed Forces, conferred diplomas of excellence and recognitions in the name of the “General Stefan Gusa” to the leaders of the 2019 graduating class “Nicolae Balcescu-200” of the military educational institutions of the Ministry of National Defence.

Trip to Italy
From July 5 to 12, 2019, as every year since 2010, there took place the trip organized by the Foundation for 10 students of the high schools with military profile of the country. This year benefited from this prize: Raduta Andrei, Coran Raluca, Iorga Biancaca, Cristea Robert, Nichiteanu Dan, Duracu Miruna, Paraschivescu Stefan, Stefanescu Stefania, Postolachi Ana Maria, Rilea Petru. The cities of Florence, Venice, Milan were visited.

Awarding of the Prize for scientific research in the field of national defence
24.09.2019 – The “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation awarded the Diploma of Excellence and the Prize for Scientific Research in the amount of 1500 lei to Lt. Lect. Dr. Cristian Ichimescu of the National Defence University “Carol I”.

Commemoration of the heroes of December 1989 at Spataru
On December 22, 2019, in the church of Spataru, founded by general Stefan Gusa, there took place the military and religious ceremony dedicated to the anniversary of the Romanian revolution of December 1989, at which the Foundation, the prefect of the county, the commander of the Buzau garrison, the municipality of Costesti and the general school “General Stefan Gusa” of the village of Spataru laid wreaths of flowers. On the occasion of the winter holidays, the pupils of the General School received from the Foundation, as every year, gifts (packages with clothes, toys, sweets and fruit).
