I. Ceremonies:
October 25 – Army Day: Laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
May/June 2014 – Ascension of the Lord – Heroes’ Day, military and religious ceremony at the Foundation in the village of Spataru (laying of wreaths, commemorative packages)
March 28, December 22 – Events, interviews and commemorative Te-Deum articles in relation to the commemoration of general Ştefan Guşă 20 years after his death, the 25th anniversary of the events of December 1989
II. Activities
25.10.2013/15.01.2014/15.04.2014: – Assignment of 7 monthly scholarships (stay), for 3 students of the squad leaders and non-commissioned officers schools, 3 cadets of the force academies (land, air, naval) and one student of the Military Technical Academy.
23-28.06.2014 – Assignment of four scholarships in the form of a trip to Italy for three Military High School students and one accompanying teacher
16-31 July 2014 – Delivery of the diplomas and prizes of the “General Ştefan Guşă Foundation” to the graduates of the National Defence University “Carol I”, of the Military Technical Academy, of the Land Forces Academy “Nicolae Bălcescu”, Sibiu; Naval Forces “Mircea the Old Man” Constanta; of the Air Force “Henri Coandă” Braşov and of the Military Schools of Squad Leaders and Non-Commissioned Officers: of the Land Forces, “Basarab I” – Pitesti; of the Air Force “Traian Vuia” – Boboc, of the Naval Force “Amiral Murgescu” – Constanta. (8 prizes of 1200 lei).
February – March and July 2014 – Assignment of the Foundation Awards to the first three military athletes ranked in the final phases of the Winter and Summer Military Sports Games (6 prizes)
November 2014 – Donation of fiction and history books for the History Competition of the pupils and students of Buzău county organized by the National Day.
Conclusion 2015 – Documentary film on the man and the patriotic military general Ştefan Guşă. (collaboration with the Lugoj branch of FED and FGŞG)
Permanent – Interviews, articles in the military and civil press, radio and television programs relating to the purpose and objectives of FGŞG
Permanent – Patronage of editorial activities: elaboration, editing, printing of studies, works of books of history and military memorials, printing of journals of associations of military personnel – Cult of Heroes, War Veterans, Reserve Military Personnel, “Military Attachés Report” Vol VI; rev. “Heroic Romania” etc
III. Charity actions:
December 6 – Religious ceremony and St. Nicholas gifts: provisions, sweets, fruit, etc., for the students of the General School Spătaru of Costeşti Buzău

Heroes’ Day, May 29, 2014
Thursday, May 29, 2014 – Heroes’ Day, the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation, in collaboration with the military garrison of Buzău – Command of the 2nd infantry division “Getica”, organized a military and religious ceremony with guard and brass band, with laying of wreaths at the monument and tomb of general Ştefan Guşă situated in the church of his foundation in the village of Spătaru, commune of Costeşti. The wreaths were laid by a delegation of the family and of the General Ştefan Guşă Foundation (Gl (r) Niculae Spiroiu, Lieutenant Alexandru Cristian and Mr. Costin Vrabie); by the military personnel of the Command of the 2nd Infantry Division “Getica”; by the representatives of the county branch of the Association Cult of Heroes; by the employees of the prefecture of Buzău county, of the regional inspectorate for emergency situations, of the police inspectorate of Buzău, of the municipality and of the general school of the commune of Costesti. The inhabitants of the village, the reserve officers and the relatives participated in the ceremony.
Prizes for the class leaders 2014 – Announcement – This year the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation awarded DIPLOMAS of EXCELLENCE and money PRIZES to the class leaders of the graduation class 2014 “Constantin Brâncoveanu-300” of the military educational institutions of the Ministry of National Defence.

The “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation awarded DIPLOMAS of EXCELLENCE and money PRIZES to the heads of the diploma program 2014 “Constantin Brâncoveanu-300” of the military educational institutions of the Ministry of National Defence.
They received Diplomas and Prizes for a total value of 7.800,00 lei: the head of the promotion of the Military Technical Academy; Senior engineer George-Cristian G. Positutu, head of the promotion of the Land Forces Academy “Nicolae Bălcescu”; Slt Laura-Lucia Rasinar, head of the promotion of the Aeronautics Academy “Henri Coandă” Slt Alexandra I. Virlan and ensign eng. Ştefana-Mihaela Farcas, head of the promotion of the Naval Academy “Mircea cel Bătrân”
Diplomas and recognitions in the amount of 1.000 lei each were awarded to the heads of promotion, military squad leaders and non-commissioned officers of the profile schools of the Armed Forces as follows: MM cls V-a Oana-Daniela Buzatu-head of the promotion of the Military School of Military Heads and Non-Commissioned Officers of the Land Forces “Bessarabia I”; MM cls. 5th Mihai I. Petrescu- head of the promotion of the Military School of the Majors and Non-Commissioned Officers of the Air Force “Traian Vuia” and MM Class V Mirela R. Dinus- head of the promotion of the Military School of Military Majors of the naval forces “Admiral Ion Murgescu”.
The above-mentioned recognitions were conferred on the occasion of the graduation ceremonies held on July 22, 24, 29, 30 and 31, 2014, in the garrisons of residence, by generals and reserve officers, former colleagues and close collaborators of general Ştefan Guşă: Admiral Dorin Dănilă (Constanța), general Niculae Spiroiu (Military Technical Academy and garrison of Pitesti), colonel Dr. Doina Muresan and Nicolae Mitu of the General Staff of the Land Forces (Sibiu).

On September 22, 2014 the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation awarded the Diplomas of Excellence and the Prize for Scientific Research in the amount of 1.500 lei to Mr. Cornel MARINESCU, Florin NISTOR and Liviu COMAN of the National Defence University “Carol I”, the authors of the work “CAUCASIAN CRISES, ENERGY GAME AND SECURITY IN THE EXTENDED BLACK SEA AREA”

During the events to celebrate Romanian Army Day 2014, a delegation of the “General Ştefan Guşă” Foundation, composed of General Niculae Spiroiu, Mr. Costin Vrabie and lieutenant Alexandru CRISTIAN, laid a wreath at the Monument to the Heroes of the Second World War on the esplanade of the National Defence University “Carol I”.
December 6 – St. Nicholas gifts – The students of the General School of classes I-VIII “General Ştefan Guşă” of the village of Spătaru, com Costești Buzău received gifts with provisions, backpacks, fruit on the occasion of the winter holidays
Commemoration of the heroes of December 1989 at Spătaru
On December 22, 2014, at the foundation of general Ştefan Guşă in the village of Spataru, the military and religious ceremony dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Romanian revolution of December 1989 took place, in the presence of the representatives of the Foundation, of the family, of the prefecture of Buzau, of the Command The garrison of Buzău, the police inspectorate, the SRI, the association “Cult of the hero”, the parliamentary parties, the municipality of Costesti and the school of Spătaru laid wreaths of flowers. 300 Christmas packages were distributed by the Foundation both to the soldiers of the military guard and to the inhabitants of the village present at the ceremony.

On December 22, 2014, at the foundation of general Ştefan Guşă in the village of Spataru, the military and religious ceremony dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Romanian revolution of December 1989 took place, at which the Foundation, the family, the prefect of the county, the commander of the garrison of Buzău, the association “Cultul Eroilor”, the national liberal party, the municipality of Costesti and the general school “General Ştefan Guşă” of the village of Spătaru laid wreaths of flowers. On this occasion the students of the General School of the village received from the Foundation packages with provisions, sweets and fruit. The Christmas packages (300) were also received by the soldiers of the guard, the musical band and the inhabitants of the village who participated in the ceremony.
