“General Stefan Gusa” Foundation.
I. Scholarships and prizes:
a. The awarding of the “General Stefan Gusa Foundation” prizes to the graduates – heads of promotion of the following educational institutions:
of the National Defence University Carol I and the Military Technical Academy of Bucharest,
Land Forces Academy “Nicolae Balcescu” Sibiu;
Naval Forces Academy “Mircea cel Batrân” Constanta;
Air Force Academy “Henri Coanda” Brasov
Military Schools of Squad Leaders and Non-Commissioned Officers:
Land Forces “Basarab I” – Pitesti;
Air Force “Traian Vuia” – Matricola,
Naval Forces “Admiral Murgescu” – Constanta.

b. Assignment of the Foundation Prizes on the occasion of the Summer Military Sports Games
c. Assignment of the Prize for scientific research in the field of national defence
d. Support to the cultural-educational project “Let us preserve the tradition of the Romanian people – Coronita folklore ensemble – Spataru School”
II. Charity actions:
December 2024 • Gifts for children of Spataru School and support for disadvantaged families of Spataru, Buzau County.
III. Ceremonies:
June 13, 2024 – Ascension of the Lord – Heroes’ Day, military and religious ceremony in the church of the village of Spataru
December 22, 2024 – Military and religious ceremony – “Day of the Victory of the Romanian Revolution and Freedom”
May 17, 2024 – The Ministry of National Defence organized the award ceremony of the winners of the Summer Sports Games, 2024 edition, for the training units.
Summer Sports Games 2024
The Ministry of National Defence organized the summer sports games in Brasov, from May 13 to May 17, 2024. On this occasion, as every year, the General Stefan Gusa Foundation delivered diplomas and prizes to the athletes ranked in the first three places:
First place – st. Neagu Mihaita
Second place – lt. Mihai Chiric
Third place – st.sg. Nastasa Miruna
