25.10.2015 – Assignment of 7 monthly scholarships (subsistence), 9 months per year (October-June) for 3 students of the squad leaders and non-commissioned officers schools, 3 cadets of the force academies (land, air, naval) and one Acad student of Military Technique.

28.06-3.07 2016 – Assignment of 7 scholarships in the form of a trip to Italy for six Military High School students and one accompanying teaching staff member

16-31 July 2016 – Delivery of the diplomas and prizes of the “General Ştefan Guşă Foundation” to the graduates who are heads of diploma of the Military Technical Academy, of the Academies: Land Forces “Nicolae Bălcescu” Sibiu; Naval Forces “Mircea the Old Man” Constanta; of the Air Force “Henri Coandă” Braşov (4 prizes of 1500 lei /350 Eu) and of the Military Schools of Squad Leaders and Non-Commissioned Officers: of the Land Forces, “Basarab I” – Pitesti; of the Air Force “Traian Vuia” – Boboc, of the Naval Force “Amiral Murgescu” – Constanta. (3 prizes of 1200 lei/ 275 Eu).

– Two special prizes of the Foundation, one for the best military sportsman at the Winter Games and at the Summer Games of the Army.

Donation of books for the first prize to the authors of the works presented at the communication session of the students of the Faculties of Socio-human Sciences of the University of Pitesti.

– Donation of books for the first prize for the authors of the works presented at the communication session of the students of the Faculties of History organized by the University of Pitești.

– Donation of history books and history books for the history competition of pupils and students of Buzău county organized on the occasion of the National Day.

– Sponsorship of editorial activities: elaboration, editing, printing of studies, books of military history and memoirs, printing of journals of military associations – Cult of Heroes, War Veterans, Military Reserves, as follows: one title of the book “Military Attachés Report” Vol VI; one issue of the magazine “Heroic Romania”.

– Religious ceremony and gifts for the feast of St. Nicholas: school materials, sweets, fruit, etc. for the pupils of the General School of Spătaru.

– On the occasion of Heroes’ Day, Army Day, December 22 and other holidays, organization in partnership with the Command of the Garrison of Buzau and the local authorities of this city and of the locality of Costesti of the commemorative ceremonies at the monument of general Stefan Gusa, located at the church of the village of Spataru, with related participation;

– Laying of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, on the occasion of Heroes’ Day and Army Day;

– Awarding of “General Stefan Gusa” Diplomas and Prizes to the student graduating with the highest marks at the Military Technical Academy and to the researcher or graduate at the National Defence University “Carol I” with the best graduation thesis;

– Awarding of “General Stefan Gusa” Diplomas and Prizes to the students graduating with the highest marks at the Land Forces Academy “Nicolae Balcescu” of Sibiu, the Naval Academy “Mircea cel Batran” of Constanza, and the Aeronautics Academy “Henri Coanda” of Brasov;

– Assignment of ten monthly “General Stefan Gusa” study scholarships, as follows:

– Three study scholarships to one pupil of each of the three military high school colleges;

– Four study scholarships to one cadet (one student) of each of the three Armed Forces Academies (land, aeronautics and naval) and of the Military Technical Academy;

– Three study scholarships for one pupil of each of the Military Schools of Non-Commissioned Officers and Masters of the Armed Forces;

– Donation of: food, maintenance materials, stationery articles and toys for the Association Archdeacon “St. Stephen” (Ghencea Parish);

– Organization of a trip to Italy during the summer holidays, as a prize for one pupil of each of the military high schools, at the end of completion of the 2nd or 3rd year of high school. Criteria of selection and nomination in conformity with those approved for the year 2010;

– Interviews, articles in the military and civil press, radio and television broadcasts relating to the purpose and objectives FGSG;

– Realization and supply of documentary material for the section “Personalities in uniform” of the publication “Military Observer”.

– Sponsorship of editorial activities: elaboration, edition and printing of studies and of books of military history and memoir literature, printing of journals of the associations of military personnel – “The cult of heroes”, “War veterans”, “Reserve Military Personnel”, and more exactly of one book – “Military Attachés Report” Vol. VI (report 2010) – and of one issue of “Heroic Romania”;

– Support/sponsorship University of Pitesti for the organization of the National Session of scientific communications of the students of the Faculty of History – “Student research in the 3rd millennium” and of the annual Session of scientific communications of the students of the Faculty of Socio-Human Sciences;

– Collection and selection of documentary material for the realization of a documentary on general Stefan Gusa;

– Common projects in collaboration with the institutes with which there are signed agreements or partnerships in order to support the scientific-educational activities in the military field.

1st Quarter

– On the occasion of Heroes’ Day, Army Day and other holidays, participation in the events organized in partnership with the 2nd Joint Operational Command of Buzau and the local authorities within the commemorative ceremonies at the monument/the church of the village of Spataru sixteen years after the death of general Stefan Gusa;
– Laying of wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, on the occasion of Heroes’ Day and Romanian Army Day;
– Realization and printing of the presentation leaflet of the “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation;
– Updating and maintenance of the website “General Stefan Gusa Foundation”;

2nd Quarter

– Organization and development of the inauguration ceremonies of the “General Stefan Gusa” Reading Room at the National Defence University “Carol I”;
– Awarding of “General Stefan Gusa” Prizes and Diplomas to the students graduating with the highest marks at the Military High School Colleges “Dimitrie Cantemir” of Breaza, “Stefan cel Mare” of Campulung Moldovenesc and “Mihai Viteazul” of Alba Iulia;
– Awarding of Diplomas of Excellence and of the special Prize “General Stefan Gusa” to the student graduating with the highest marks at the Military Technical Academy, to the researcher or graduate at the National Defence University “Carol I” with the best graduation thesis, and to an officer of the Joint Operational Command “Marshal Alexandru Averescu” of Buzau.

3rd Quarter

– Awarding of “General Stefan Gusa” Diplomas and Prizes to the students graduating with the highest marks at: the Land Forces Academy “Nicolae Balcescu” of Sibiu, the Naval Academy “Mircea cel Batran” of Constanza, the Aeronautics Academy “Henri Coanda” of Brasov, the Training School for Combat Units “Mihai Viteazul” of Pitesti, the Training School for Combat Support Units “General Eremia Grigorescu” of Sibiu, the Training School for Aeronautics “Aurel Vlaicu” of Bobocu, the Training School for Logistics “General Constantin Zaharia” of Chitila, Bucharest, and the Naval Forces Training School “Vice Admiral Constantin Balescu” of Constanza;

– Assignment of scholarships, as follows: to three pupils of the military high school colleges, and to four pupils of the Military Technical Academy and of the three Armed Forces Academies.
– Trips abroad for three pupils of the 2nd and 3rd year of study at military high school colleges (“Dimitrie Cantemir” of Breaza, “Mihai Viteazul” of Alba Iulia and “Stefan cel Mare of Campulung Moldovenesc).

– Support/sponsorship University of Pitesti for the organization of the 9th edition of the National Session of scientific communications of the students of the Faculties of History – “Student research in the 3rd millennium” and of the annual Session of scientific communications of the students of the Faculty of Socio-Human Sciences;
– On the occasion of the anniversary of the events of December 1989, participation in the commemoration of general Stefan Gusa at the monument erected in his honour at the church founded in the village of Spataru;
– Interviews, articles in the military and civil press, radio and television broadcasts relating to the purpose and objectives FGSG;
– Sponsorship of editorial activities: elaboration, edition and printing of studies and of books of military history and memoir literature, printing of journals of the associations of military personnel – “The Cult of Heroes”, “War Veterans”, “Reserve Military Personnel”, and more exactly of one book – “Military Attachés Report” Vol. VI, of two issues of “Heroic Romania” and of one issue of “The Reserve of the Army”.

Continuation of the collection of documentation necessary for the elaboration of the volume dedicated to the ministers of National Defence.

1. Edition of the Yearbook of the “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation on themes of military history.
2. Presentation within the broadcast “The Army Hour” of Radio Romania of a section dedicated to the presence of civilian and military personalities in the Romanian Army, and to particularly significant moments in the history of the latter.
3. Presentation by the television broadcaster “Romania Cultural” of the books published by the “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation.
4. Systematic promotion through the newspaper “Redesteptarea”, Radio Nova FM Lugoj and Ten TV of the books published by the Foundation.
5. Translation into Romanian and publication of books on various themes of military history, signed by foreign authors (French, German, Italian, etc.).
6. Translation and printing in other languages, under the patronage of the Foundation, of various books, among which:

Romanian-Italian political-diplomatic and military relations. 1914 – 1947 (in Italian language).

1. Continuation of the drafting in the culture page of the newspaper “Redesteptarea” of Lugoj of a section entitled “Notebook of a historian”, on themes related to local military history, or to particularly significant events of the modern and contemporary history of Romania.
2. Organization of an annual Session of scientific communications on historical themes, with the participation of various personalities of contemporary Romanian historiography; the papers presented will be published in the Yearbook of the Foundation.
3. Awarding of the prizes of the “General Stefan Gusa” Foundation consisting of money and of works published by the latter, to the authors of the best communications presented at the 6th international Session of students of the faculties of history, organized in December at the University of Pitesti. On this occasion, media promotion of the name and activity of the Foundation.
4. Organization of cycles of conferences on themes of history at the European University Dragan of Lugoj and of Brasov.
5. Organization of the ceremonies of laying of wreaths at the monument of General Stefan Gusa, located in the village of Spataru, region of Buzau.
6. Sponsorship of the General School “General Stefan Gusa” with stationery articles and books.
